Upon check-in at an All-Inclusive Resort, plastic bands (as in the hospital variety) are placed on your wrist. There’s no need to carry money at an All-Inclusive---if you’re hungry you go to one of the many restaurants and eat! If you want a drink, you walk or swim up to the bar and order whatever you want. There’s no slip to sign, no bill to settle—all you do is show your wristband! Children under the age of 18 are given different colored bands to identify them as being underage for alcohol consumption.
All-Inclusive Resorts offer a number of restaurants to choose from: a heaping buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner, a pool/beach grill, a pizza kitchen as well as specialty restaurants which are open for dinner: Japanese, Italian, Mexican, Seafood or a Steakhouse. The All-Inclusive resorts are designed to provide a total experience while on vacation; with watersports such as snorkeling, hobie cats, paddleboats, kayaks, or windsurfing. During the day, the resorts offer arts and crafts, spa services (fee additional), educational classes and child care with extensive activities. There’s also a shopping street at the resort or beach for souveniers.
